The true measure of your success as a SkipQ graduates is determined by how well you perform in your job in relation to your peers, not only by whether you can clear hiring companies’ interviews. Therefore SkipQ’s training focuses on helping you learn the fundamentals of how to perform well on the job as a Software Engineer 🔥.

Having said that, clearing interviews at tech companies is a separate skill that requires preparation and practice. Therefore SkipQ also prepares you for your interviews 🎯.

We arrange multiple interviews for you (at least 3). But we focus on preparing you such that you clear your first interview. 80% of our graduates clear their first interview with hiring companies and don’t even require the extra interviews we have for them. And we would like to improve this statistic 📈!

When arranging interviews, we take the Specialization, Full-Stack or Cloud DevOps, you followed into account. We take your preferences into account, including whether you are open to moving cities. We also consider which companies would suit your personality and style of working best🧠.

🎯How will SkipQ prepare me for my interviews?

If you are following our Full-Time program, then 2 weeks of your training will be dedicated to interview prep. If you are following our Part-Time program, then 4 weeks of your training will be dedicated to interview prep.

Just like the project-based training, the interview prep training will run like a sprint 🏃🏽 in an agile framework. To ensure you are well prepared, we will do the following

1. Give you access to an extensive list of questions, some of which will for certain be asked during your interview🗒️.
2. Make you practise your basic problem solving and coding skills by attempting multiple Leetcode problem. This exercise will help you to code under pressure when you have your interviews 👨🏻‍💻.
3. Arrange mock interviews with your training peers 💬.
4. Arrange mock interviews with SkipQ alumni who are all working in companies where you will eventually get hired 💬.
5. If required (instructors make this decision), arrange mock interview with SkipQ coaches working as Senior Software Engineers at Google, Amazon and Salesforce 💬**.**
6. Give you anxiety and stress management training so that you perform well in a high pressure interview environment 😳.

The anxiety and stress management workshops will run throughout the training. Similarly, the Leetcode practice will also happen on a daily basis during the training. The rest of the above activities usually take place exclusively during the interview prep sprint.
